Our Story

In January 2015, I got severely sunburnt, from relatively brief sun exposure and I was quite ill for several months and I am still in the process of recovering from the damage this sunburn caused not only to my legs but subsequently to my lymphatic system as well.

While in Rarotonga in December 2017, I purchased some Rito - Cook Island skin care products and I was told that some of the ingredients in these products (all natural) had healing capabilities. I am one of those consumers who is very sceptical till I see something with my own eyes.

While still in Rarotonga, I started using Rito’s Tamanu oil and Revitalising Moisture Body Lotion and I continued to use when we got back to New Zealand. Within a few short weeks, I could see an improvement in my skin tone on my legs. My Husband had a small, sort of eczema patch on the inside of his wrist, which he has had for the past 2 years and after using Rito’s Tamanu oil this patch started fading after just 2 days of applying.

Rito products are all natural and speaking from experience, the healing abilities in some of their products is amazing!

After feeling and seeing the difference Rito had on my skin, my husband and I were curious to do some additional research to see what a few of our friends and colleagues thought of the products. The feedback was all positive and so we did additional research into the viability of opening our Spa.

Life is Hectic! Our days roll into months into years - we all lead such busy lives and don't often take enough time to chill-out, relax and look after ourselves.

My husband Darryn and I, had a distinct vision of what we would like our Spa to look like, how we would like people to feel when they come in for their treatments and we were very specific on what products we want to use and sell. And for us to both agree on so many various aspects, well that is a miracle in itself.
